Gary Juarez

Gary Juarez has a wide variety of experience in the drum corps world. He marched with Pacific Crest and the Velvet Knights before joining the Blue Devils in 1997 and 1998.

Mr. Juarez works with many high schools throughout the Los Angeles and Phoenix area and has won numerous awards from WGI, WGAZ, BOA, SCSBOA, and DCI, ABODA. Included in these awards are the 1997 PAS Indoor Marching Championship with Nogales High School where he was caption head. He is currently instructing for The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (Concord, CA) - the 2007 DCI World Champions, Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ), Henderson State University (Arkadelphia, AR), Hamilton High school (Chandler, AZ) and Millennium High School (Goodyear, AZ).

Gary has studied with Stuart Pompell, Paul Rennick, Tom Float, Sean Vega, Scott Johnson. He also worked and composed for Destiny’s Child, Miri Ben Ari, Keith Urban, The Phoenix Suns, New Jersey Nets drum lines and numerous companies/ entertainment groups. Gary is an active marching percussion clinician/ arranger and proud endorser for Dynasty USA, Pro-Mark drumsticks, Zildjian Cymbals and Remo drum heads.
