Gary Marshall started playing drums at the age of 10 and studied with Bill Knight and Lloyd Ryan, (whose pupils include Phil Collins). Gary later joined the London music circuit with several bands. He has since worked alongside major acts, including members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Boogie Brothers, Screaming Lord Sutch and The Groundhogs to name a few. He has played concerts at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England (home of the Duke of Marlborough), for a family occasion of Ringo Starr and drum clinics with Mark Mondesir, Neal Wilkinson, Chuck Silverman, Dave Mattacks and Crissy Lee.Gary runs his own "Fun When You Drum!" teaching facility and in addtion to teaching and performing, writes regularly for the music press. Gary has performed drum workshops with Steve White (The Who, Paul Weller, Oasis, James Taylor) and performs many drum clinics throughout the U.K. Gary has written his own tutor book and produced a drum tutor DVD with Paul Francis (Steve Harley, Jack Bruce, Linda Lewis).
Gary is currently the in house session recording drummer for Woodworm Recording Studios, Oxfordshire, England.
